Legal Authority

The lawyer i found for my project is Patricia Marr, she is a civil lawyer planning on going into being an entertainment lawyer.

I found her through my family. My mother and her have been good friends  throughout the years. My family is in the entertainment business and she has always been the legal authority we have gone to for pretty much everything. She runs her own firm in a local talent agency called cool blue talent agency.

she has been a lawyer for over 13 years.  Her start to being a lawyer or influence to get into the law started in 1992 when her and her 7 year old son got hit by a drunk driver. She wanted justice to the case but her lawyers didnt represent her properly, her son died in that wreck. She wanted to pursue capturing justice for other people who were in same shoes as her.

She went to school for over 8 years to become a civil lawyer. She has represented many people and has worked at several firms, two years ago she decided to open up her own firm and work for herself, that is when she met the director for the cool blue talent agency where she currently resides. Working with the owner of the talent agency has opened her eyes to the benefits of being an intellectual property lawyer and working with musicians (something she has done over the years already with my family.) so she is now working her way into getting a degree in intellectual property law/becoming an entertainment lawyer. She wants to protect the creative license that every musician should have a right to.
